For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by anything with wheels. When I first got a bicycle, I hardly got off of it. Then I got into RC cars, and became eternally addicted to the continual improvement of performance and aesthetics. Those little things taught me my first lessons in mechanical aptitude, and gave me a basic understanding of the way machines work. Another aspect of that was the wealth of different ideas I had for the paint. I spent 14 hours painting one of those RC truck bodies, and now I extend that same passion into my design. I'm an avid motorcyclist as well, and that has become one of my main interests. Shortly after beginning my professional career I found a Harley-Davidson Sportster and have not stopped molding it into my own vision since. It started out as a chopped and bobbed ratty looking bike, to a clean cafe racer, and is now a full blown trail racing machine. It tears the dirt up but still maintains that Harley soul. My goal in any design is to create a balance of beauty and function, which is absolutely necessary with motorcycles or anything that has to have exposed mechanical elements. Hagie's crop sprayers were a huge challenge, as well as class-8 trucks while I was at Navistar. I have since moved on and am currently working for Rivian as a surface designer. Read Less
