Styling and conceptualising for a fashion editorial published in Sukeban Magazine (https://sukeban.co.uk/fashion/little-india/12487/), which also made it to their 'top 20 of 2019' selection.

The first search for home, when away from home, starts in the ‘world foods’ isle of grocery stores for most people. When the limited variety of spices and the milder selection of curries fail to hit the spot, it’s only the sound of familiar tongues that can begin to cure the longing for home.

When a friend and photographer, Sahil Behal from India visited me in London, it had been a little over a year since I’d been home. I wanted nothing more than to go to Southall, the ‘mini Punjab’ (a North-Indian dominated community) and capture the ways of India. Instead, what we witnessed was a bizarre mixture of traditional Indian styles, smells and colours with an eccentric English influence on it.
