Subversion of Our Everyday Life

The purpose of this fictional project is to come up with ten absurd ways of riding a bicycle to understand the basic attributes, alongside its form and functionality of a bicycle. Furthermore, given perimeters such as “Overstatement”, “Oxymoron” and “Remix” were used to aid in stripping the object of its normal use to contradict its logic and create absurd illustrative scenarios.
― Overstatement
Exaggerating and amplifying for the sake of humour, or to emphasise a point.
― Oxymoron
Contradicting opposite ideas to create a dramatic effect with no literal sense.
―Remix
Concept of altering found images, making visual comedy. Combining an object or an image with bicycle (”Visual Math”).
Ten black and white illustrations with a choice of one colour only, to strategically lay out on an A2 size poster.
