The Unseen Nepal

It all started in October 2019, when I got the chance to explore the ACAP region of Nepal while working as an Outdoor Educator. The Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) was the first and largest protected area in Nepal. Launched in 1986, it is the largest undertaking of National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC). Along with some of the highest mountain peaks, the area is home to the world's deepest river gorge, a valley filled with fossils from the Tethys sea dating 60 million years ago, and, contains the world's largest rhododendron forest. This area has been attracting adventure enthusiasts and mountain admirers like me for ages and will continue to do so in the future.
