Plantee is a mixed reality app exploring the fracture of boundaries between the real world and the virtual world.
It presents a possibility for a minimalistic lifestyle, where everything we own becomes enclosed in the digital world. In a playful way of owning and caring for a virtual plant, this prototype app explores a way of growing a living life in a digital world. Through a home like, cosy set up work gives the viewer the comfort that they need, being introduced to a new, unknown concept. It serves educational, as well as aesthetical purposes and provokes questions about future digital life.
