As a student in beginning Animation, character sheets are very important. Profile views and different color schemes are fun to play around with, aside from letting the animator how the character looks from different angles, but I believe the expression practice sheet was the most fun for me. For such a little critter who loves to explore his surroundings, it becomes interesting in attempting to project his feelings through both his face and his quills.
