For this project I created two Type objects with one slightly larger than the other.

Then I made each into wire frames and the outer object UV map small enough to act as pixels. Then it became a matter of animating emissions and noise texture.

Afterward, I added a purple emission light to the under object.

Finally, the last step was adding a glare composite node.

Voila! I'm pretty happy with this one. The colors are easy to change along with the wording. With a little tweaking, the top pattern can turn on in anyway too. I just thought for this to have it be random.
