Outer Banks is a destination for millions of people. The Emarald Isle area is second to none with all the same beach-y vibes as the bigger places, but much more laid back (and less crowded). Plus, there's the amazing Hammocks Beach State Park, a civil war era fort to explore, and a cool aquarium.
