It has been a long time since HeR Interactive introduced cover art of their long-awaited game a.k.a. “Nancy Drew: Midnight in Salem”. But some fans don't like its design because there are many changes. Well, what if we can look at the HeR Interactive classic style of “Midnight in Salem” game including cover art and social networking elements like a header, photo profile picture or video thumbnail?
A lot of attention was paid to the main game art and poster design. Because we have a large silhouette with Abigail Woodley in the center and a minimalistic game logo at the bottom in the new style. The old style has a small silhouette in the center with the improvised 3D logo and with a lot of shadows. Abigail Woodley was overlaid on the forest scenery with the small transparency.
Design was created for old style DVD wrap using a new game poster. It includes game tags, story, features, and legal information. Earlier there were QR codes at the back of the game boxes that allowed to open the game page at HeR Interactive sites. I decided to save this characteristic of old game boxes. All other elements were located similar to the classic design.
