While undertaking my degree, I entered the Secret 7 competition. The challenge was to create an album sleeve design for a song of your choice. They provide a selection of songs and you can enter as many designs for as many different songs as you like. The winners get their work displayed in an exhibition. 

I chose to create artwork for Max Richter and his track Dream 3. I submitted one design in the end, after experimenting with a variety of different ideas. My final design looked to reference the structures and cells in the brain, responsible for dreaming. I tried to create a design out of imagery of trees, and used layering to create an abstract art form. The blue line in the middle of the design is another reference to the brain and the two different sides of it.
