This project is my take on visually representing some of the kings and queens of India

and illustrating them in Indian traditional style onto a deck of playing cards.

These illustrations are inspired by greatest kings and queens from our history such as Chandragupta Maurya, Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Prithviraj Chauhan, Maharana Pratap, Rani Padmini, Jijabai, Kittur Chennamma, Rani Laxmibai, Chanakya,

Chimaji Appa, Kavi Kalash and Bhama Shah.
