Mission: Illustrate the Solar System's iconic celestial bodies in a style inspired by many contemporary science-based infographic illustrations and assign each body with an expressive face.

Process: A lot of research went into this project. I gathered many references from NASA.gov and style reference from Kurzgetsagt, a popular science channel on Youtube. All illustrative work was done using Adobe Illustrator. The Sun, the planets, and Pluto were all created independently then combined in Adobe Indesign for the final layout.

  

Challenges: The greatest challenge of this project was learning and developing from a new style I previously had little experience working in.

Conclusion: This project was very educational if not a lot of fun creatively. Giving each illustration a unique personality was most exciting. The end result carries the style I was striving for and meets all my mission requirements.
