Marriage, Heaven or Hell? Creative Lettering
“Marriage is neither heaven nor hell, it is simply purgatory.” – Abraham Lincoln
This artwork was designed to remind couples, including my boyfriend and I, to work out our differences as couples. Family is the most important unit of a society and if it is broken, there will be nothing but chaos. I also chose to design this quote since I want to challenge myself to turn “marriage”, “heaven”, “hell”, and “purgatory” into letter illustrations that compliment each other, especially on the color combinations. This is now my favorite (as of August 2020).
