CGI meets reality
NIGHTFALL
With our latest mixed production we challenged ourselves, blurring the boundaries between photography and CGI in a way that it becomes hard to define if the image was produced digitally or shot in real life. Our photographers and 3D artists worked hand in hand to meet this challenge and created a world of images in perfect imperfection, which captivates with expressive images of unusual naturalness and authenticity.
To simulate the moving car, we took real images of passing cars. Afterwards, the car was replaced by the 3D animation.
The surrounding was blurred and replicated according to the real picture.
Besides the accuracy of the visual representation, which was created fully in CGI we have added some natural features and "failures" to make the picture look most authentically.
