Making a Coloring Page with Illustrator, from iPad to Desktop for Adobe MAX 2020.

The inspiration
My 100 Pencils Project has brought together the things I like most: drawing and drawing tools!
So for my lab illustration demo, I decided to keep it going with some pencils and my favorite coffee cup.
The Process began in Adobe Illustrator for iPad.
I always like to play with ideas and shapes to help me decided the direction of the artwork. In this case, it became apparent that the coffee cup was front and center. Art Fuel seemed appropriate and there you go!
Creative Cloud Doc Sync allows me to work between my iPad and my Surface whenever I am ready to take the artwork from mobile to desktop.
I ended up with two copies of the same drawing after going back and adjusting the iPad version of the artwork before Illustrator had a chance to sync the document.
Final edits in Adobe Illustrator Desktop with my Surface Pro. Here I adjusted the layout, added extra details to the page and final text to create the title of the drawing.
