Goodbye to the Holy Mountain
My first Art Nouveau style piece/fan tribute to one of my favorite films,Ā Alejandro Jodorowsky's surrealistĀ masterpiece "The Holy Mountain".
Here we see The Alchemist, portrayed by Jodorowsky, an entity thatĀ dual-symbolizesĀ spiritualĀ growthĀ andĀ consumeristĀ chaosĀ with black and white color shifting robes.Ā Instead of feces, taxidermied animals and the naked women that surrounded The AlchemistĀ as he lead theĀ pilgramge to the Holy Mountain,Ā Ā I opted forĀ obscure scene references and details that are much less interesting and probably require explanation.Ā
