With over a decade of experience in law, Martin Price served Alteon Health as chief operating officer and general counsel for two years before becoming the president of The Annalex Group. At Alteon Health, he led a large-scale integration to enable growth strategy and deliver savings. When he wants to relax from the duties of his busy career, Martin Price enjoys reading.

The habit of reading, has been scientifically proven to help people reduce their stress levels and fall asleep more easily. A 2009 study measured the effects of humor, yoga, and reading on some students suffering from high levels of psychological distress. This research discovered that only 30 minutes of reading could lower heart rate, blood pressure, and stress, similar to the effects of yoga and humor.

More recently, a science-backed article published in 2019 by Mayo Clinic claimed that reading also helps the body to relax before bed. The article suggests that before bedtime, reading acts in a manner that is similar to listening to soothing music.
