A Window To Our Souls
Art is subjective and no art is perfect, it reminds us that being imperfect is okay. That’s what’s makes us unique and beautiful in our own way. A Window To Our Souls is a photobook that takes you on a journey of self-acceptance through accepting the inner shadow. Inspired by Carl Jung's Theory of Self-Acceptance, this photobook's purpose is so that audience can realize that accepting our shadows is a path towards true self love.
The photobook consists of two dialogues, the person's and the shadow's. From this, a unique feature is applied, the audience would have to lay a transparency sheet over the shadow's dialogue so that they can read what the shadow is saying. Otherwise, without the transparency sheet, the dialogue is illiterate.
