Madeira Wine Festival
The Madeira Wine Festival has been going on for many years here in Madeira Island, but in 2017 it was special.
Until then, the Madeira Wine Festival consisted only in wine tastings made by our Wine Producers. We present a proposal to Tourism Office Bureau where we would associate the wine tastings to our gastronomy.
The 3 highlights of the Festival were the “Wine Village” where we had an area for the Wine Producers and different types of food in order to make the best pairings with our Wines; Wine Tasting at Avenida Arriaga; And the “Chefs Dinner”, where you could try a 3-course dinner, a starter with Madeira Fortified Wine, a main course with red or white wine and a dessert with Madeira Fortified wine again - the Chefs all worked in 5-star hotels and the best restaurants here in the island.
We also designed the costumes inspired on the grape harvest.
The decoration was made with elements related to the theme and wickerwork from our Madeira Island. There were 10 days of wine tastings, thematic dinners, music bands and lots of entertainment.
