The Deafening Silence is a comic that speaks of the effects of isolation during the pandemic, the upheaval of the norm, and the desynchronising of time. Through the warping of the traditional comic format a fractured narrative is born, distorted due to constant recollection, denying the chronological. As ghosts linger in the landscape of the mind external and internal worlds blend, reality is uprooted as we tumble into disarray. The outside world retreats beyond the horizon and our boxes grow smaller with each passing second.
