The Urban Forest Project is a public exhibition project that started in New York. It basically creates awareness and educates the public on issues regarding the environment. The project was to create a banner design using the form of a tree as the main element to make a strong statement. The cool thing is that these banners are made into totes and put up for auction to support environmental initiatives in local communities. These are the ones I came up with.
El Urban Forest Project es una iniciativa publica que comenzo en New York. Basicamente crea consciencia y educa al publico en general en temas ambientales. El proyecto requeria el crear una pancarta utilizando la forma de un arbol como elemento principal y a la vez creara un impacto social. Lo interesante del proyecto es que las pancartas son recicladas y una vez convertidas en bolsas son subastadas para apoyar iniciativas ambientales en las comunidades. Estas son mis disenos participantes.
