World Hijab Day in Kyrgyzstan

The author of the idea of World Handkerchief Day in 2014 is a Muslim from New York Nazma Khan, who in response to discrimination on religious grounds decided to take the first step to tell the world what the handkerchief is and what it is like to hide your beauty from prying eyes. Her idea of tolerance found support among women around the world, and the educational brochures have been translated into 22 languages.
The purpose of this event is to create a platform for dialogue between women of different ages, religions, activities and worldviews. And the handkerchief in this case is the main unifying theme, because this attribute of clothing is in the culture and traditions of all peoples and religions.
