The elders of KAMENO gather to find a way to end GAITANA'S evil regime. A prophecy was once told by GACHARA: the ridges seer (from the bloodline of GAKERE) that a child of the purest of souls (NJOKI) shall be born with a very special power that will bring an evil deity's regime to an end. The fate of the universe will lie in her hands. For the prophecy to be fulfilled, GACHARA advised the elders to seek the legendary immortal sisters who inhabit the sacred caves of MAKUYU: the very one place on earth that men are forbidden from trespassing.

300 years ago in KAMENO, a mother gave birth to fraternal quadruplets. She noticed that all her baby girls were born with disabilities. She tried keeping this information from her husband but the suspicious man caught wind of the situation and got so upset. She blamed her wife for being cursed and threatened to kill the babies. His wife (not able to withstand this thought) silently escaped from KAMENO and set out for the caves in MAKUYU, where she raised her girls but later died when they were aged ten. Before she died, she summoned NKATHA; the river spirit and begged her to protect her girls. NKATHA gifted each sibling with unique, individual powers for their protection and cast an immortality spell on them that would later clock in ten years later. NKATHA told the girls that a time will come when their powers will be instrumental in protecting the ridges and saving the universe.

WANGECI (the eldest sister) was born blind. NKATHA gifted her with hypnosis magic and the ability to detect evil spirits using the third eye placed on her forehead that glows bright in the vicinity of evil spirits.

Her walking stick (granted to her by NKATHA) is not just any ordinary stick: it is a magical stick that bears the power to open a portal to the underworld where WANGECI locks away evil spirits lurking in the ridges.

WANJIKU was born with a condition known as congenital amputation (missing one leg at birth). NKATHA gifted her with the power of shadow teleportation; she can use any available shadow as a portal for self propagation and can paralyze her enemies by phasing through their shadows. NKATHA also gifted her the ability to transform herself into a flying kite for disguise.

A child of the purest of souls (NJOKI) shall be born with a very special power that will bring an evil deity's regime to an end. The fate of the universe will lie in her hands.

WANGARI was born deaf. NKATHA gifted her with a bionic extension that enables her pick up sound wavelength signals as well as act as a sonic cannon which can be employed to stun the ears of her foes or to deliver concentrated blasts of sound potent enough to shatter rock or deform steel. She can also pick up thoughts of enemies miles away using the bionic extension that detects subtle changes in the blood flow of one's brain to measure their neurological activity. Her second gift was her legendary machete: which holds the power to injure & kill spirits. Her eyes glow green in the vicinity of evil spirits. NKATHA also trained her to be a ruthless combatant

WANGUI was born dumb (not able to speak). NKATHA gifted her with the power to communicate and control birds using her mind (aviation telepathy) and the power to control plants (chlorokinesis) to do her bidding. She can spy on her enemies through the eyes of a bird or connect to a living plant near them to hear their plans. When offended, she can attack her enemies by strangling them with roots and branches which she controls with her mind.

For 200 years, the IMMORTAL SISTERS protected MAKUYU from harm and spiritual invasion. The time has now come for their fate to change forever: they shall have to make an ultimate sacrifice to fulfil THE PROPHECY.
