For Dollar General we were asked to create the animal crackers box art which was more "fun" but also went with their brand standard. They suggested a crayon look so we bought crayons and actually drew the artwork out. We decided on a simple drawing incorporating with the individual crackers instead of one overall drawing. On the white background it stays within the brand standard but gives it whimsy as if a child drew on paper with their animal crackers. I hand drew everything with crayon, including headline.
