adidas Runners is a global running movement designed to energize, support, and unite runners worldwide. It was launched in key cities around the world, including London, Vienna, Berlin, Athens, Paris, and Dubai, among others.

The adidas Runners Bucharest chapter was inaugurated in September 2017, creating a vibrant community for individuals seeking to infuse a sense of enjoyment into their daily runs. Every Thursday, passionate runners convene in Herastrau Park for group runs and training sessions.

These sessions are skillfully led by captains Anca Bucur and Alexandru Corneschi, both of whom boast significant and relevant experience in the field. Anca Bucur is a multi-sport enthusiast, engaging in activities like cycling and fitness, while Alexandru Corneschi is a professional athlete associated with the Romanian Athletics Federation, renowned for securing gold medals in various competitions.

My colleague and I jointly spearheaded the launch of adidas Runners Bucharest, with my primary responsibilities encompassing:

Interviewing and selecting community captains and special partners.

Overseeing the community launch event and its management, including materials and brand activations.

Managing photo sessions, entailing briefing, location selection, participant coordination, and scene setup.

Coordinating the community's special events and group runs.

Leading the team, which included overseeing the PR and BTL agency.
