Visual Perception
In this project, we had to design a multi–page book on the text "Visual Perception" by Daniel Chandler. After reading and interpreting the text, we had to design infographics for data that we felt needed visual explanation that could help readers best understand the information that they are reading. For this project, we used a grid system that was made based on what I felt best fit for this project and was mastering how to use a grid.
My Approach
My approach to this project was to design it as if it were a scientific article you would read in a magazine or even like in a textbook. I designed a bunch of infographics to help readers visualize data and compare information. I incorporated rules, pull quotes, headings, subheadings, and captions. I used 4 x 6 grid system and used two columns of text per page.
