"Kitchen Duty Stalk" is a project based on four drawings I made while thinking about the "surprises one can find in their kitchen": little gifts of playful knowledge of the world, a child's fingertip telling more to a mother or father than to anyone else,  forgotten  "toys of nature" .
Finding its roots into the very known story of "Jack and the beans stalk" this project focuses on inversions of appearance,  the dark sided view upon an optimistic mood of hands showing the spills of cups and pots, different muses around a Jack whose taped eyes are staring their rolls at you (?)  ... on bits of nature and pieces of human life.  wh
It is not only in the eyes of a strange girl or boy that stories can find doors and windows to make an entry to the beautiful creative fresh minds of the future. In sounds and objects they can find their peace as well as their restless initiation processes and teachings. Jack is not alone. He used to feel so but the stories that he's read since childhood and the ones he had the courage to put on paper or tell in any other way he could make a legacy for a future that can include the beauty of the storytelling in its progression to rejuvenation and renewal of times.

"What are you doing there?
Can't understand it well;
Stuck in a stupid tower  doomed to fade,
with idiots that keep asking you
for suicidal acts..."

"Don't worries" now seem cruel and so unfair, dear.
It was time for you to get some understanding.

"I am no Sylvia Plath,
'am not like that...
I do not have her courage
Nor her ...cowardly thought (?);
I am just me, one soul , one wrath...

One god inside!

I am not Sylvia Plath.
