S•Town
In 2012, John B. McLemore contacted Brian Reed, an investigative journalist from New York. After numerous emails and long phone calls, Brian agreed to come down to Woodstock, Alabama, to assist in solving a homicide case. The New Yorker packed his bags and left for Bibb County, not knowing what crazy adventures he would later find himself in.

In 2017 the complex and controversial story was published as a podcast. Actual recordings of conversations and phone calls are interwoven with Brian's narration to tell the tale of Bibb County. John makes it abundantly clear how he feels about his hometown of Woodstock, which he refers to as "S*** Town". This is how the podcast received its name, S•Town.

I've wanted to make a poster about S•Town for some time but was never sure how. Recently I had the idea to make a primary poster featuring John's hedge-maze and the S•Town title. Secondary posters introduce the chapters and their respective quotes. Using Google Maps I was able to find John's property and accurately recreate the hedge layout. The centre area in the maze serves as the • in the title.

Thank you to Goose for recommending this truly remarkable podcast to me.
