Project located in Gargždai, Lithuania is based on jewish history that this town is full of. Location was determined by historians who claims, that a large synagogue was standing just in front of this mural. During the war, half of the city was destroyed, jewish people were killed or put in concentration camps...

An old picture was found in the archives that depicts a jewish football team gathered together for a group photo. We chose three figures (with the central one being the goalkeeper) and their friendly gesture. Nowadays it is a place of sports and young people gathering, the building itself is a cinema theatre. A lot is changed, but we hope this historic mural will benefit an honor jewish people and the history of this town.
