Postcard for email newsletter for the New 2020 Year
The newsletter has been prepared for the Company's employees. It talked about the successes of the year and plans for the next one. Of course also it was about happy and great Winter Holidays.
The Company has many employees. Each of them has different hobbies, habits and other things. I tried to portray them in a variety of situations in the context of the Winter Holidays. I found different photos from my archives and from Google. Added more diagonal directions for the dynamics of the characters.
And I put all parts into a frontal flat composition to get a freeze-frame feeling.
I wanted to give a more understandable association. Therefore, I chose the color scheme of the Company's brand colors. It based on cobalt blue.So, I just took the opposite one to create harmony. Because I think more colors making it only chaotic.
Since all elements of the illustration overlapped with each other, and the palette was limited, I added volume with shadows.
I added a terry, knitting texture for cozy feeling.
