ALTER EGO
Who would we be beneath the mask we wear on, hiding our raw, vulnerable selves? To think that our raw selves, our alter ego, is some ideal body and pure soul is a myth in my mind. I believe my alter ego would be selfish, devious and uncaring. Sometimes I wish all my troubles would just vanish. All the kindness, the compassion within me that my parents have groomed me with, sometimes add up to all my troubles. That little part in the back of my mind which whispers like the devil, ever so slightly, would perfectly be my alter ego. However, a thought isn’t wrong until it’s spoken.
