Car Magazine Project: Designing a magazine all about cars.
The purpose of this project was to create a car magazine that was needed by a client. I really liked the idea of the magazine. We had to put all the parts together by following strict instructions and what met the clients needs.
I loved to play around with the effects and make it totally unique than what it would have been. In my opinion i think that is what makes it special and one of a kind. You’ll never see that same car again and it is very contrasted from all the basic ones. My favorite touch I put into this photo was making the headlights green to match the grill and headlining title. I feel like I succeeded because it's so original and still follows the guidelines.
Music CD Artwork: making an album cover based off of your own skills as well as the instructions.
The music CD project is where we are to create an album cover using different tools and new gadgets in Adobe Photoshop to get a final product. The final project would be something you’d find on a CD someone who wrote the album would promote. Designing the project, we could change things on the project that we felt needed to be changed. The purpose of this project was to, as I said, make artwork for a CD that someone who most likely produced the music, would put on the cover. I did that, I made it by following the instructions, but I also made it my own with different twists. I feel I accomplished the idea of what we were supposed to do, with a bit of leeway from the original directions.
I feel as I did exactly what was told of me, and I even added a few special things to make it unique. I followed all the necessary requirements that were needed. I feel like i succeeded, for it being my first project on a new platform.
