Assignment: The purpose of this assignment was to research a topic pertaining to digital media and design an infographic based on that research.
Execution: Adobe has determined that the Flash technology would be end-of-life as of December 2020, so the timeliness of that news made this an attractive topic for this assignment. I wanted to tell the story of how Flash became so powerful as a design and animation tool, but then became discontinued when the internet became mobile with the introduction of smart phones and other mobile devices. Since the logo for Flash is so iconic, I decided to base the design around the primary colors and rounded curves in the logo.
