Practicing the Art Style of JoJo from Part 4 to Part 8

Before I got started on my recreation piece based on the work of Hirohiko Araki, I wanted to practising on drawing in his style in a mix with mine, just so I can get a sense of what I might use in effect to my recreation piece. After searching for image references on the evolution of Araki's art style throughout JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, I've decided to practising his art style from late Part 4: Diamond Is Unbreakable (1995) to Part 8: JoJolion (2011-ongoing).
After journeying through sketching each art style from each part (early and late), I have drawn out Araki's art style in a mix of my own style from 1995 to current day. It was fun to draw every part style and learning which ones I'm best at replicating in detail, appearance and in my own style. My favourite one has to be Part 7's art style because after I've finished sketching the art style for that part, I was very impressed with myself on how closely I've managed to capture the influence and feel of the style within that sketch.
On a personal note, this experience made me look back at the evolution of my art style over the past years of myself as an artist/animator. It's not something I do often as sometimes I would like to focus on producing my works whilst in the moment. But after looking at the evolution of Araki's art style to then looking at mine, it gave me a surprise of pride within me and the motivation to keep on being creativity whenever I'm at college, working on my projects, or at home, working on my personal projects.
