The Process
What I did: The Manager Essentials program was a fun project to work on. This 2-day classroom experience introduced new managers to the organization and helped prepare them for their first 90 days in the role. I developed instructor-led curriculum and materials for program which also included 11 eLearning modules to complete in an asynchronous setting.
For this program, I used graphic design to provide a refreshed brand that carried through to the classroom materials. I used the ADDIE and SAM models to design and develop eLearning, micro learning and short videos to help managers to refresh on instructor-led curriculum. I started the design library for artifacts housed in the the Manager Essentials Toolkit.
Under the program manager umbrella, I conducted pulse surveys to targeted audiences within the new manager community to design learning for their needs. I also helped conduct learning lab events to improve the Manager Essentials program experience and improved activities and materials based on this feedback.
