Sacred armour of Samus

For some time I have been making a line of pinup's based on 8bits games (or retro-pinup's) in which I exchange the main characters of 80's emblematic games (Phantomas, Abu Simbel Profanation, Army Moves) for female versions of them. In this particular case there is no direct change of character, but a crossover between two games: The Sacred Armor of Antiriad and Metroid. The idea of this illustration was given to me by a drawing made by Jesús Martínez del Vas. And I couldn't resist to materialize Samus Aran, Metroid's heroine, in an illustration that combines the elements of such an emblematic cover like The Sacred Armor of Antiriad. I just had to look for the necessary references to turn that idea into a complete illustration and get down to work.
