The Wishlist App is my first attempt at creating a UX/UI design of a mobile application as part of a UX/UI design course. The goal of the project was to learn how to create mobile application designs using Figma, and to design an app that would allow users to create and store a list of their wishes. Since this was a learning exercise, I had a lot of flexibility in terms of the app requirements.

First, I performed competitor's analysis in order to find inspiration and explore existing solutions on the market. Then, mid-fidelity wireframes were created, followed by the UI designs of the 3 screens of the app - Login, Home, Create a New Wish, Profile/Settings. The Wishlist App was created in Russian.

Next steps

In order to further develop this project, the rest of the pages need to be designed, including the Search Page and the Friends Page (with a possibility for users to share their wishlist with other users). In addition, user testing needs to be performed in order to better understand how users interact with the app, how they perceive the design, and what features could be improved. Furthermore, A/B testing of at least 2 app versions (e.g. with menu design version #1 and #2 depicted above) would be beneficial in order to make the most user-friendly design decisions.
