W Sound Engine’s design was inspired by the Wankel Engine known for its simplicity and compact design. The Reuleaux triangular form factor of extruded aluminum housing emulates the eccentric rotor design in a Wankel Engine. The Reuleaux triangular form factor positions the speaker at 60 degrees angle, directing the sound directly towards the user when placed on a table.
W Sound Engine is an ultraportable Bluetooth sound bar designed for mobile phones and laptops. Beneath the fabric cover and brushed aluminum housing are a pair mid-range drivers and a passive bass radiator that are capable of delivering powerful immersive audio. The fabric cover and brushed aluminum housing creates contrast in the design and a visually balanced form.
