WATERING CAN
"PODGY"
The goal of this project is to design a watering can. I decided to come up with a user-friendly design. The design is safe and suitable for children because features a round shape and a vivid color. It is perfect for family activities.
CONCEPT
The concept of the design I decided to come up with a user-friendly design for children to get involved with gardening and looks fun because it reduces the problem of young children addicted to social media.
TARGET
The target group of design is children aged 7 to 11. The handle of the can was designed to suit the hands.
DESIGN PROCESS
After I got a concept and I had ideas about the target group.
The First step, I research children aged 7 to 11 for the design size to suit and I started with some sketches.
The next step, I sketch the form of this project. Then I made a study model to check the size and explicit scale that it is ok and can get along with the features. The final step is to develop to create a prototype and rendering for presentation.
The prototype was made in the process of 3D printing.

CONTEXT
The product is great for children age 7 to 11. The handle of the can was designed to suit children's hands. Suitable for watering plants in the garden also encourage the family to spend their time doing the gardening together.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
PODGY is made from Polypropylene(PP).
The can is capacity is 0.5 L.
The children will be learning and fun to water the plants. For example, filling the water and watering by opening, closing holes to control the water flow.
The upperparts were made to be disassembled when not using,
which helps saving space and make it easy to wash and clean.

TISSUE BOX
This is the tissue box that is suitable for square tissue. I choose oak wood for this tissue box because it has a fine-grained look and beautiful pattern. The tissue box is simple, Has a cover that is removable. The product is not suitable for the toilet because it’s not waterproof.
First of all, for the overall dimension, It is 12 centimetres wide and long and 11 centimetres high. which is the right size for users. It's approximately weighs around 0.5 kilograms.
This tissue box Is Suitable for everyone. It is designed to be placed on the table. The method of use is open the top box lid and put the tissues in the box and close the box lid.
This project was the technical drawing part.
Secondly, I would like to give you the information about how it was built. This tissue box consists of 5 main parts, Every part is sawed the cut parts.
Part 1 is the Lid plate, The Parts 1 and 2 in order to joint together by Mitred butt wood joint.
Part 2 is the lid plate, The Parts 2 and 3 in order to joint together by Tongue and groove wood joint.
Parts 1, 2, and 3 is made from white oak wood.
Part 4 is the wooden battens, Table saw is my choice to cut Grooving out 5 millimeters deep. And Also The parts 4 and 5 cut out by rabbet wood joint. Parts 4 and 5 is made from red oak wood.

I worked project with machina.
I workpiece is made from recycling waste. And also is made from various plastics.
This Is suitable for everyone. It is designed for room decoration and put stuff, put a small tree.

The first step I sketch the form of this project.
The next steps bring plastic to cut to modifying the shape. And then I use the glue to attached all that joined together.
