Loup County - Website | For the second project of my Interaction Design class, we were given a link to Loup County, Nebraska’s website. Our goal was to revamp the existing website into something new. Some information was available on the original website, some I was able to source from elsewhere. Within the parameters of the assignment, I created three scenarios in which I would focus my designing on: renewing car registration, visitor information, and checking recent election results. I’ve been to Nebraska once, and I remember rolling hills and fields. It’s known for its agriculture and I wanted to use that theme within my design. The logo is the county seal encircled by the gold-yellow band to tie in with the rest of the website. I wanted this website to feel modern and clean, but with a countrified twist. Imagery is centered on the agriculture motifs or sourced images about the county itself.
