Fun Fact: I LOVE doing Halloween makeup. I do my own makeup, take my own pictures, and do my own editing. Sometimes, my paint doesn't match my wig, or I want a pair of contacts to finish the look and just don't own them. That's when Photoshop comes into play. For this image, I photoshopped my body paint to be a closer color of pink to my wig. I created a black sclera contact lens in one eye, and a purple contact lens for my other eye. I also darkened my black body paint, did minor facial flaw touch ups, and fixed some fly away hairs. Photoshopping minor changes is such a fun way to really bring a picture together.
This is another Halloween makeup look I've done, photographed, and edited. I unfortunately can't find the original of this image, but I didn't do a ton of photoshopping, so it should be easy enough to explain. This makeup look I did was of Pennywise. One of his most striking features is his bright gold eyes. Since I didn't have contacts in this color, I photoshopped my eyes to match his eye color. I also smoothed some minor imperfections in my skin (but kept some of the darker shadows/creases because it added to his creepy look), and I also brightened the vibrancy of my red spray on hair color a little bit.
For this mummy makeup I did, I really didn't like how my natural eye color and hair color looked with the makeup - I looked too "alive." I photoshopped my hair color to be a more muted gray - like I'd been underground for quite some time and aged while there. I also wanted white contacts for the look, but didn't own any, so I photoshopped my eyes to look like I had them in. Besides that, I just did some minor cleanup on small blemishes on my skin.
This is another Photoshopping case of "I didn't have the right color wig and contacts." So I own a platinum blonde wig, but it just looked too "alive" for my makeup look. I Photoshopped my wig to a more white/silver color to compliment the makeup look better. I also wanted blacked out eyes, because that's just what I think of when I think of a demon. Again, I don't have black sclera contact lenses, so I photoshopped my eyes to look like I was wearing them. Besides those two changes, I really just did some minor touchups on blemishes on my face. White face paint and dramatic lighting are not very forgiving to any imperfections on the skin.
This is a very subtle Photoshop change, but it's probably a more realistic thing that most clients would ask for. So this makeup look is for Barbie- post op. I didn't have a cute pink shirt, so I just simply Photoshopped my yellow shirt to be a bright Barbie pink color.
