This was a personal project to test my skills. This textbook is part of a series by Andrew Loomis. These books are one of the most recommended learning materials by professional illustrators, concept artists, animators and fine artists. Collages and Ateliers around the world teach the materials from this series, whos initial publications were between 1938-1947. All have received a modern cover redesigns in subsequent printings, with the exception of this one. 

Goals

-Fix typography on interior to fit the modern redesigns

-Use imagery from the book

-Use same title font

-Use better Andrew Loomis signature from other books

-Have the same feel as the original design while looking consistent with later designs

-Maintain Alex Ross quote
