Sashimi The Kaiju was created for the May 2020 virtual group art exhibition "The Kaiju Show" by The ArtBar in Aurora, IL. It was also seen in the online exhibition "Art In The Time Of Coronavirus" organized by the Schingoethe Center and Phillips Library at Aurora University.
She looks a bit sinister but, she has destruction on her mind. But maybe, just maybe... she's giving the little fishes a break this time, making vegetarian avocado sushi rolls instead.
I may have listened to too much Flaming Lips around this time, and certainly the pink jellyfish are a nod to the pink robots that battled Yoshimi.
