About
The task was to create a modern modular font based on the historical Cyrillic alphabet.
For inspiration, I chose the shape of an 'M' letter from Cyrillic ustav and half-ustav.

In the end, I combined their forms and brought their main characteristics on other letters.
All alphabet was built in the Fontstruct program. It has a constant grid and limits of shapes number. I tried to find the best forms to show the elegance and beauty of historical samples in my font and to bring some modern elements into it.
