Autonomous Logistic Electric Vehicle - ALEV
Industrial design and UX design
During the pandemic situation, in a mid year of 2020, I team up with 2 engineers - Jiancheng Liao and Nicola Pizzigoni made a project for the Netherlands solar vehicle in Schipol airport the Netherlands. The idea is to minimise the complicated process in the baggage handle from the passenger to the airplane. As a result we compromised with the technology owner "Trens" to use their technology in an electric vehicle supported by Solar cell power. We made this logistic purpose vehicle autonomous by using the sensor design in the back and forth.
Charging Station and Solar Panel Application
The circulation process of ALVE is follow the rule of thumb, while the luggage is move to the conveyor, the ALEV is automatically stand beside the end of conveyor while its charge the power. While the luggage are arranged by the multi stack system inside the ALVE, its straight up to send a signal in the sensor to move forward and or backward destination to the plane.
UX Design
The control design part of ALVE shows the status of the vehicle performance, control performance and sensor performance in order to rapid maintenance control. The rapid maintenance control is supported by the predictive maintenance feature that indicated by the sensor visual, eg. while the sensor 2 is interrupted, the UX will appear the blink icon in which the sensor is applied. The UX design by Viriega Fauzia R.
