Happy End of The World, 2020
A group project in which I had a blast creating backgrounds and some of the scenes. Illustration is my forte! We made a music video that's mostly moving storyboard (animatics) with some effects.
Taking place in Edwardian Era, an optimist little girl that goes by the name Marianne tries to explore the unknown in a world where air travel does not exist. Therefore, she creates a hot air balloon. Delighted, she then flies which she unknowingly arrives at Paris, from London, and everyone looks at her in awe. Yet she does not realize that the feeling of merely a fabrication and punishment for those who think too much of freedom.
Interpretation is up to the watchers.
My work consists of designing interiors, one exterior, and some scenes in this project. Above are some background sketches, and the following are the rendered ones, then the scenes themselves. Those are Royal Society ruins and train station, respectively.
