Leksykon zjawisk paranormalnych (eng. Lexicon of Paranormal Activity) is my diploma project - a book, fully illustrated, designed and written by me. 

Size B5, 40 pages, hardback. Digital print.

The book contains stories, folk legends and alleged records of paranormal creatures, UFO sightings and conspiracy theories from around the world.

The aim was to create a book for everyone interested in paranormal activity, weird folklore tales and ghosts. 

Throughout the process of research, I've gathered informations about popular cryptid animals, enigmatic events and strange apparitions from around the world.

Although from the very beginning I've had a half-ready idea of how I wanted the book to look like, the design has been changed many times and many illustrations were redone.

For the headings I have used various different fonts, in order to play with typography a bit - I wanted to give each centerfold its own, unique style and feeling.

I have also tweaked the default letter styles a bit:

I have changed the layouts, fonts and sizes of the elements many times, in order to find the best composition possible. In some cases I have even redrawn illustrations.

With every tweak the project became better.

And finally, here is the outcome:

It is divided into three chapters: Duchologia (about ghosts), Kryptozoologia (about cryptids) and Ufologia (about UFO sightings).
