The Mako 5.56 is a bullpup personal weapon system for ship boarding usage, its compact form being well suited to transport vehicles and CQB in tight and difficult to maneuverer environments. The bullpup form of the rifle allows a large suppressor to be mounted to reduce the sound signature in an enclosed environment without compromising on barrel length nor overall weapon size.
