One of the first projects i started working on when i built the first iteration of my 3d printer was a modular quadcopter frame that combines 3d printed parts with low cost carbon fibre tubing. The centre sections of the frame are replaceable and different modules can be designed such as mounting for different controllers, ESC's, FPV cameras, telemetry esc.
