For my cel animation assignment, I decided to create a lower-third graphic. Using a combination of shape keys and frame-by-frame animation, I put together a title graphic for a show co-host in Adobe Animate.

I composited the elements together and made other final adjustments in After Effects. I embossed the frame element to give it a bit of a 3D effect, and added some masked glow to the text to add emphasis and draw the eye toward Emily's name. I also implemented some colored and time-offset frames after discovering that I preferred watching the animation with onion-skinning turned on in Animate.
